Aditya Tawatia, President Overseas Friends of BJP (OfBJP) British Columbia issued a following statement: Very soon we are going to witness the biggest democratic carnival in the world; India is going to choose its next Prime Minister. Our target is to get 272 + seats for BJP. The way world is changing and we at OfBJP feel that being a Canadians of Indian origin this is a high time for both countries to optimize mutual benefits in all the fields.
We are fortunate enough to be living in this decisive time in history that we have leader like Narendra Modi in India who has proven his credentials as phenomenal administrator and his policies are pro –business. We believe the conservative govt. of Canada is also very keen to do business with India We want strong India, strong Canada. We want closer ties between both the countries. Historically, Canada and India are both big countries but have not done much business together.
We are hopeful that a government led by Narendra Modi will bring two countries and its people closer. Right now, people of India want Narendra Modi to lead them into the next era.
